Last Friday, November 11th Pablo Pinto, student from 8th ML was awarded with the First Prize in the English Speaking Union Writing Competition organized by the British Council and ESU Chile.
Pablo was given five phrases associated with different places within “The Recoleta Dominica Museum” in Santiago. He selected one and used it as the first sentence in a story of 800 words. “Let your imagination flow! Be creative were some of the rules.
Pablo was judged taking into account the “use of language, his response to the phrase and place chosen and the quality of the story”.
We congratulate Pablo for his outstanding performance, not only in the competition , but also for his positive attitude, responsibility, usage of language and good study habits along the year in Language Arts classes.
