En la asignatura electiva de Economía, para las y los estudiantes de 12th, se realizó una charla informativa sobre el mundo de las criptomonedas, a cargo del ex alumno del colegio, Cristóbal Elorza, quien cursa Ingeniería Comercial en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
La actividad, realizada vía plataforma zoom, implicó un acercamiento importante a los alumnos y alumnas al sistema monetario de las criptomonedas, destacando las principales que existen, sus características, beneficios y posibles problemas, así como sus reales y más significativas aplicaciones.
Actividades de este tipo, dan cuenta del tremendo patrimonio humano y cultural que representan para el colegio nuestros ex alumnos.
The world of bitcoins
The world of bitcoins was the main topic on our Economics elective for 12th graders. An instance for learning, but also to meet again with our 2021 alumni, Cristóbal Elorza, now studying Commercial Engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and the responsible of the workshop.
The activity, that took place by Zoom, was an instance for our students, to learn about the monetary system of bitcoins, highlighting the main ones that exist, their characteristics, benefits and possible problems, as well as their real and most significant applications.
This type of activities, give us de opportunity to demonstrate the tremendous human and cultural heritage that our alumni represent for TISLS.
