Como cada año, fuimos parte de las actividades programadas con motivo de celebrar el “XXI CAMPEONATO ESCOLAR DE MATEMÁTICA -CMAT MEDIA 2023″ y el “XX CAMPEONATO ESCOLAR DE MATEMÁTICA -CMAT PARA 7° Y 8° BÁSICO 2023″, desarrollados en la Universidad Católica del Norte, sede Región de Coquimbo.
Durante el proceso, nuestros alumnos se enfrentaron a cinco etapas, las cuales se desarrollaron los días sábados en los diferentes meses del año. Las pruebas consistían en una categoría de participación individual, donde los participantes respondieron a pruebas sobre problemas matemáticos y una segunda categoría de forma grupal, donde también resolvían problemas de matemática en forma conjunta, trabajando no solo en su capacidad analítica, sino que también potenciando el desempeño grupal.
Finalmente, el pasado lunes 4 de diciembre se llevó a cabo la premiación, destacando la participación de los siguientes alumnos:
– Lucas Gimeno, quien obtuvo bronce Nivel nacional en la categoría individual 8° Básico
– Lucas Osip, que logró la Plata Nivel nacional en la categoría individual 8° Básico
– Agustina Lagos, quien alcanzó un reconocimiento por participación destacada 8° Básico
Felicitamos a los 30 alumnos que nos representaron en las diferentes categorías en esta versión de CMat 2023 y los esperamos el próximo año con el mismo entusiasmo y compromiso por este gran evento.
With two medals and a lot of learning, we concluded our participation in the 2023 Maths championship
Like every year, we were part of the activities scheduled to celebrate the «XXI SCHOOL MATHEMATICS CHAMPIONSHIP -CMAT MEDIA 2023» and the «XX SCHOOL MATHEMATICS CHAMPIONSHIP -CMAT FOR 7TH AND 8TH GRADES 2023», that took place at the Universidad Católica del Norte, Coquimbo headquarters.
During the process, our students faced five stages, which took place on different Saturdays during the year. The tests consisted of an individual participation category, where the participants answered math problems; and a second group category, where they also solved mathematics problems together, working not only on their analytical ability, but also enhancing the performance as a group.
Finally, last Monday, December 4th, the awards ceremony took place, highlighting the participation of the following students:
– Lucas Gimeno, who obtained Bronze at the national level in the 8th grade individual category
– Lucas Osip, who achieved Silver at the national level in the 8th grade individual category
– Agustina Lagos, who achieved recognition for outstanding participation in 8th grade.
We congratulate the 30 students who represented us in the different categories in this version of CMat 2023 and we look forward to seeing you next year with the same enthusiasm and commitment for this great event.
