Una destacada participación en la Competencia nacional de Poesía organizada por la English-Speaking Union Chile tuvieron nuestros alumnos de Elementary y Middle School.
Fueron cuatro de nuestras alumnas las seleccionadas como semifinalistas en el evento, que se realizó el pasado 24 y 25 de octubre en el Saint George’s School de Santiago, y que recibió a nivel nacional más de 170 videos con postulaciones.
De esta manera, y tras realizar unas destacadas presentaciones, Elizabeth Foote, de 5th G, alcanzó el segundo lugar en la categoría de su nivel, mientras que Amanda Leiva, del 3rd J y Esperanza Herrera, del 7PM, recibieron mención honrosa cada una en sus categorías. Junto a ellas, también nos representó Trinidad Torres, del 4th N.
Como colegio, estamos orgullosos del trabajo, el compromiso y la perseverancia mostrados por cada una de nuestras alumnas, que además dejaron en alto el nombre de TISLS como colegio bilingüe, destacando su alto nivel de inglés. ¡Felicitaciones!
Impeccable participation of our Elementary and Middle students in the ESU Poetry Competition
Our Elementary and Middle School students had an outstanding participation in the National Poetry Competition organized by the English-Speaking Union (ESU) Chile.
Four of our students were selected as semifinalists in the event, which took place last October 24th and 25th at Saint George’s School in Santiago, and which received more than 170 videos with applications nationwide.
In this way, and after making outstanding presentations, Elizabeth Foote, from 5th G, reached second place in the category of her level, while Amanda Leiva, from 3rd J and Esperanza Herrera, from 7PM, each received honorable mention in their categories.
Along with them, Trinidad Torres, from 4th N, also represented us. As school, we are proud of the work, commitment and perseverance shown by each of our students, who also raised the name of TISLS as a bilingual school, highlighting their high level of English.
