“The Head, the Heart, the Balance” by Amparo Retamal and “The Key to Progress” by Sofía Andía, are the titles of the speeches delivered by these two students from 11th grade JT and G who were selected last Thursday October 3rd, among other six competitors, to represent our school in the ESU Public Speaking Competition 2020 in Santiago. Aspects such as clarity, credibility, use of language and general effectiveness, were the ones in which Amparo and Sofía highly outstood.
Isidora Larraguibel and Jonatan Tamburini , from 11th grade JT, and Camila Cuellar and Pablo Pinto from 11th grade G were part of the six finalists in the school public speaking competition and their deliveries reached high standards as well.
The Grand Jury composed by Vlada Vasilyeva from 12th grade PJ, — who had represented our school in the competition this current year– Mr. Jilberto Olivares, Miss María Ester Campos, Miss Liliana Cortés, and Miss Ingrid López had the difficult task to decide among these six proficient speakers.
Congratulations to Sofía and Amparo and thumbs up for Isidora, Camila, Jonatan, and Pablo for their very good performance.
