During the first three weeks of September, the 10th graders had the opportunity to travel to the United Kingdom in our first internship in an international college. There, they were able to assess their use of the English language, to build team-work and to learn and value the characteristics of different cultures. The program consisted on two weeks at Harrow House International College in the city of Swanage, where they attended classes and were certified on their English proficiency. The last week included cultural and recreational activities in the city of London and Paris, where they were able to appreciate some of the culture, architecture, and history of both cities and use their English as well. The trip was a positive experience for our 10th graders, who showed appreciation and a positive attitude toward every activity they were proposed.
