7°PM leads an eco-project to improve the environment of the beach volleyball court
This is an initiative that arose from the 7th PM students themselves, who with the support of their Homeroom teacher, Miss Paola Morgan, decided to give a new face to the environment of the beach volleyball court, with a sustainable and ecological approach.
They only needed some disused tires, paint and leaf soil, to get to work.
Divided into four groups and provided with shovels and brushes, the students turned the rubbers into flowerpots, which were filled with soil and painted according to the imagination of each student. The final touch was the succulents brought by Miss Paola.
As Pedro says, “we are trying to have a more collaborative environment with nature. That is why we are using the tires that were here, to plant some succulents that Miss had in her house”.
As TISLS we are very proud of this project, that reflects our focus of educating children to contribute to the community from their own motivations, such as caring for the environment and preserving common spaces. Congratulations!
