Con el apoyo y la activa participación de los papás y mamás de los niños, nuestros Primeros básicos trabajaron en el proyecto de huerta escolar. Con las manos en la tierra, tirando pala y también aprendiendo, los apoderados fueron parte activa de esta iniciativa, mediante la cual se busca que los niños y niñas aprendan “en terreno”.
Para ello, al trabajo de soltar, mezclar y abonar la tierra, se sumó también la plantación de árboles frutales, cuyo objetivo es que los alumnos puedan aprender a través de la observación en un contexto real, el proceso de crecimiento de árboles y frutos. Asimismo, se plantaron flores y hierbas para analizar sus características y fueron ubicadas estratégicamente para cumplir la función de repelente natural.
Pero sin lugar a dudas, la enseñanza principal de esta actividad fue el trabajo en equipo y el sentido de comunidad, transmitido mediante padres, apoderados y profesores que participaron de este trabajo.
Agradecemos a todas las familias que se motivaron a ser parte de la educación activa de los niños y niñas, contribuyendo así a su desarrollo integral dentro del colegio.
1st grades worked on a vegetable garden with community sense
With the support and active participation of their parents, our First graders worked on their vegetable garden project. With their hands on the ground, throwing a shovel and also learning, the parents were an active part of this initiative, that seeks that boys and girls learn “in action”. For this, besides loosening, mixing and fertilizing the soil, the group incorporated planting fruit trees, so that the students can learn through observation in a real context, the process of growth of trees and fruits.
Likewise, flowers and herbs were planted to analyze their characteristics and were strategically located to fulfill the function of natural repellent.
But without a doubt, the main lesson of this activity was teamwork and a sense of community, transmitted through parents, guardians and teachers who participated in this work. We thank all the families who were motivated to be part of the active education of their children, contributing to their comprehensive development within the school.
